Job summary

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs invites applications for a Part-Time Program Coordinator to manage daily operations of the Gateway Program Seminar. You will coordinate GPS courses, staff development events, and HR aspects for faculty and student workers in collaboration with the GPS Faculty Director.

Based at Colorado Springs, this role supports program development, scheduling, reporting, and policy communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree.
• Professional experience in an academic or higher education setting is preferred.
• Professional experience in program coordination, administration, or support in a fast paced environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the day-to-day administrative and operational activities for the Gateway Program Seminar under the GPS Faculty Director.
• Coordinates program planning and activity, monitors progress, and prepares documentation.
• Prepares, monitors, and maintains reports outlining program developments.
• Handles HR-related tasks for faculty and student employees, including hiring and payroll processes.
• Represents the program to students, faculty, and the UCCS community regarding policies and schedules.
• Coordinates Gateway Days and service events, including purchasing promotional items.
• Coordinates programs in the absence of the Faculty Director.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
