Job summary

The role requires 2–5 years of freight forwarding experience, proficiency with Cargowise (C1), and strong communication in a fast-paced setting; you will coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, and customers to deliver timely updates and flawless service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience handling freight forwarding shipments.
• Experience in Gateway or HUB Operations.
• Knowledge of US Export Compliance is preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding industry is preferred.
• Cargowise (C1) experience is a plus.
• Additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to multitask.
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Geographical knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and close MAWB for consolidations and back-to-back AWBs.
• Ensure file contains all necessary documents and copies in proper sequence.
• Meet and exceed internal and external customers' defined needs and expectations.
• Book space with carriers.
• Ensure MAWBs are rated correctly.
• Obtain spot codes on all special negotiated rates with carriers.
• Enter spot rates and codes in C1.
• Track AWB and provide COB information to the respective branches.
• Research on CCA, weight and rate discrepancies.
• File the documents.
• Update carrier/vendor rates.
• Communicate with overseas agents and clients in a timely manner.
• Include pre alert, rate requests, shipment status.
• Track shipments and update customers/agents of status.
