JAS USA is seeking a Gateway Manager to lead and optimize all Air Gateway import and export operations in line with company policies and best practices. You will oversee consolidation services, coordinate with U.S.

stations and global partners, and drive performance through effective carrier management and cost controls. The role requires 5–7 years in freight forwarding with 4+ years in Gateway or air freight consolidation, plus strong leadership and budgeting skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; 5–7 years in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics.
• 4+ years in Gateway, HUB, or air freight consolidation operations.
• 4+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience negotiating carrier agreements and managing airline relationships.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage all Air Gateway import and export operations in accordance with JAS policies and best practices.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost management.
• Oversee scheduled consolidation services and ensure timely movement of freight domestically and internationally.
• Coordinate export consolidations and provide operational support to U.S. stations and global partners.
• Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and operational parameters with carriers to support gateway goals.
• Monitor carrier performance and address service failures promptly.
