Job summary

Sedgebrook is seeking a Gatehouse Attendant to verify and document the presence of guests, vendors and contractors entering the community.

This Part-time/PRN role operates weekends from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with pay at $18 per hour and benefits like 401(k), DailyPay, meals and EAP.

The incumbent will log entrants, track security staff activities, and support a dependable, punctual security operation.

Qualifications

• 1 year gatehouse or security experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions and communicate effectively.
• Basic arithmetic skills; computer skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Log and verify every entrant to the property and direct campus traffic.
• Record daily activity times for security staff and patrols.
• Maintain dependability and punctuality per attendance policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

General Summary:

The Gatehouse Attendant is responsible for verifying and documenting the scheduled presence of all guests, visitors, vendors and third-party contractors entering the property.

Essential Job Duties:

• Logs in every person that enters the property, such as guests, contractors, vendors, etc, and directs traffic on campus property.
• Logs in the times of the daily activities of security staff within the community (interior, exterior patrols and emergency calls).
• Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One (1) year of gatehouse and/or security experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Computer skills a plus!
