Job summary

Sedgebrook is hiring a Gatehouse Attendant to verify and document the scheduled presence of guests, visitors, vendors and contractors entering the community. This part-time/PRN role requires weekend shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with pay at $18 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include logging all entrants, tracking daily security activity, and maintaining punctuality per attendance policies. Prior experience and basic English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of gatehouse and/or security experience preferred.
• Must understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Log every person entering the property (guests, contractors, vendors, etc.).
• Record times of daily security staff activities (patrols, emergencies).
• Maintain dependability and punctuality per Attendance policy.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

General Summary:

The Gatehouse Attendant is responsible for verifying and documenting the scheduled presence of all guests, visitors, vendors and third-party contractors entering the property.

Essential Job Duties:

• Logs in every person that enters the property, such as guests, contractors, vendors, etc, and directs traffic on campus property.
• Logs in the times of the daily activities of security staff within the community (interior, exterior patrols and emergency calls).
• Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One (1) year of gatehouse and/or security experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
