Job summary

Allied Universal in Irvine, CA seeks a Security Officer for a Full Time Swing Shift to protect residents and visitors at a gated community. You will manage access points, greet residents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

Applicants must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles), have a high school diploma, and pass background checks and a drug screen. Pay is $21.50/hour with a full-time schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Valid driver’s license if applicable to driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests and visitors while enforcing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points and maintain visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Document incidents and communicate information to leadership and site representatives.
