Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver for a gated community in Huntington Beach, CA. This full-time swing shift role combines patrol duties with access-control responsibilities to ensure resident and guest safety and a welcoming environment.

The position requires at least one year in security, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills. Pay is $21.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth and benefits through Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain access records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, entry points, parking, and perimeter locations.
• Deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and following visitor-management procedures.
