ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a security/gate attendant to protect assets, assist customers, and support inventory control at our Mercer, PA location. You will greet customers, verify access, and input vehicle data while maintaining a professional, cooperative team environment.

Role may require varying shifts, including weekends, with an 24-hour weekly schedule. Starting pay is $15/hour with competitive benefits and growth opportunities within ADESA’s expansive network.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience within a customer service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
• Ability to accurately enter data on a handheld device or computer.

Responsibilities

• Secure all gates and buildings and patrol the premises.
• Verify only authorized individuals enter the property.
• Check gate passes to ensure vehicles are authorized to exit property.
• Check departing vehicles to guard against theft of company property.
• Greet customers at the gate and provide prompt and courteous service.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Maintain professional appearance and orderly work environment.
• Maintain good flow of communication with all auction team members.
