Job summary

Southwest Airlines is seeking an Operations Agent (Part-Time) to support ground operations at MSY. You will assist customers, coordinate with Ramp and Dispatch, and help ensure on-time flights while upholding service standards.

Role involves exposure to airport operations, lifting up to 70 pounds, and potential overtime. Training provided; collective bargaining agreement governs pay and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service to customers and maintain positive relationships.
• Coordinate Ramp, Operations, Provisioning and servicing aircraft to ensure on-time departures and quick turnarounds.
• Assist with boarding/deplaning and verify boarding counts.
• Support ground security and ensure procedures are followed.
• Communicate with Dispatch and Stations to relay information and updates.
