Job summary

Southwest Airlines is seeking a part-time Operations Agent in our Ground Operations team to assist flights staying on schedule and ensure customers feel cared for throughout the airport experience.

The role supports gate operations, checks flight details, and collaborates with other airport teams to facilitate smooth departures. Applicants must reside in California and may be eligible for overtime and shift premiums.

Qualifications

• For external applicants only; residency required in California.
• Experience in customer service or airline industry preferred.

• Help passengers board and verify flight details such as weight and balance (as applicable) and communicate with airport teams to keep flights on schedule.
• Ensure customers feel cared for and Crews have what they need to operate safely and on time.

Pay & Benefits Pay of $21.01 per hour*, with the opportunity for future increase per applicable collective bargaining agreement wage scale based on time in position. Opportunities for overtime and shift premiums.

• This is a part-time opportunity. At Southwest, Part-Time Employees generally work 32 hours over 5 days, but schedules are determined in
