Job summary

Southwest Airlines is seeking an Operations Agent in Texas to support gate operations and ramp activities. You will help Customers board, verify flight details, and coordinate with multiple teams to keep flights on schedule.

The role is part-time, with training and union-based scheduling. Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens or have work authorization, and will enjoy benefits including travel on Southwest flights and health insurance options.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide friendly service to customers and maintain positive relationships.
• Strong teamwork and communication under pressure.
• Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet airport requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service to customers boarding the aircraft and coordinate with Ramp, Operations, Provisioning and servicing teams to ensure on-time departures.
• Manage check-in process, boarding, and communications with Gate Agents and Dispatch.
• Prepare dispatch releases, weather data, and weight/balance information for crews.
• Assist with fueling, luggage handling, and special services as needed.
• Maintain security procedures and compliance with company policies.
