Job summary

Southwest Airlines Co. is seeking an Operations Agent to join the Ground Operations team at the Omaha facility. You will help flights stay on schedule by assisting passengers, coordinating ramp activities, and communicating with Dispatch and Crew to ensure timely, safe operations.

The role offers part-time schedules, eligibility for overtime, and comprehensive benefits. Training will be provided, with a focus on safety, customer care, and efficient gate operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Must be GSC qualified and able to comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to read documents, follow instructions, and learn ramp operations procedures.
• Ability to type and use a computer keyboard.
• Must successfully complete Operations Agent training with a 90% average.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service to internal and external Customers.
• Coordinate Ramp, Operations, Provisioning and servicing aircraft for on-time departures and quick turnarounds.
• Expedite the check-in process, collect boarding passes and verify boarding counts.
• Prepare dispatch releases and weather reports for Crew; coordinate fueling as needed.
• Maintain ground security and ensure operations follow security procedures.
