Job description

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Facilitate all inbound and outbound truck traffic for the campus. Check in/out trucks and direct them to the appropriate dock door/yard location, as scheduled within warehouse management system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Check in/out, via warehouse management system, all trucks entering/leaving the campus.
2. Act as a liaison and maintain radio communication with Warehouse and Drivers.
3. Direct trucks to appropriate scale location and record data in warehouse management system.
4. Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor for open and available dock door space.
5. Collect, sign, date, and completely fill out any required paperwork for each load.
6. Enter any required data points in the warehouse management system.
7. Maintain good housekeeping and organizational skills and follow safety policies.
8. Follow work instructions and safety policies.
9. Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
10. Identify any damage or abnormalities with equipment and report to immediate supervisor.
11. Perform any additional tasks given by the Supervisor.
12. Report any suspicious activity to the supervisor.

1. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

3. Functional knowledge of warehouse environment.
4. Able to follow instructions given for daily tasks.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School Diploma/GED.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
2. Ability to work in varying temperatures and outside weather conditions depending upon season.
