PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Facilitate all inbound and outbound truck traffic for the campus . Check in/out trucks and direct them to the appropriate dock door/yard locatio n, as scheduled within warehouse management system .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Check in/out, via warehouse management system, all trucks entering/leaving the campus.
• Act as a liaison and Maintain radio communication with Warehouse and Drivers
• Direct trucks to appropriate scale location and record data in warehouse management system.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor for open and available dock door space.
• Collect/ Sign/Date/ completely fill out any required paperwork for each load.
• Enter any required data point in the warehouse management system.
• Good housekeeping and organizational skills and follow safety policies.
• Must be able to follow work instructions and safety policies.
• Execute assignments in an accurate , timely , and safe manner
• Identify any damage or abnormalities with equipment and report to immediate supervisor.
• Perform any addit ional tasks given by the Supervisor .
• Report any suspicious activity to the supervisor.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, and outside weather conditions depending upon season .
