Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Warm, friendly personality with a genuine desire to help people.
• Strong verbal communication skills — clear, courteous, and confident.
• Basic computer or tablet skills for logging entry information.
• Reliable and punctual — the gate depends on you showing up.
• Ability to pass a background check (non-negotiable).
• Reliable transportation to East Honolulu.

Responsibilities

• Greeting residents, guests, and vendors with a welcoming, professional attitude
• Verifying identification and confirming access credentials before granting entry
• Maintaining an accurate log of all entries and departures
• Communicating clearly with residents, property management, and your team
• Monitoring the gate area and reporting anything unusual to the appropriate contact
• Keeping the gatehouse and surrounding area clean and presentable
• Staying alert and engaged through both busy rushes and slower stretches
