Job summary

Award Staffing is seeking a Gate Arm and Lamp Assembly worker in Delano, MN for 1st shift. Pay rate $20/hr, temp-to-hire, 7AM-5PM, Monday-Thursday. Join a hands-on manufacturing team in a safety-focused environment.

You'll read simple drawings, use hand and power tools, assemble gate arms and lamps, and ensure quality. On-the-job training provided; lifting up to 75 lbs is required; benefits follow after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings (preferred).
• Familiarity and experience with hand and power tools (required).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• On-the-job training provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aluminum and fiberglass gate arms and prepare for shipping by taping, boxing, and packaging.
• Build and assemble lamps by following blueprints, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Strip wires, attach fittings, and complete electrical assemblies with high accuracy.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and production documents to ensure specifications are met.
• Inspect completed parts for quality, accuracy, and proper functionality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
