Job summary

Award Staffing is seeking a Production Worker for Final Assembly on the 1st Shift in Delano, MN. This full-time position offers $19.00-$21.00 per hour and a schedule of 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, on a temp-to-hire basis.

You will focus on lean practices, keep the area clean, assist teammates, and, with training provided, operate a forklift while meeting daily production goals and handling up to 50 lb lifts.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is required for accurate assembly and inspection.
• Basic math and measurement conversions are used daily.
• Able to work team-based or independently to meet targets.
• Experience with fast-paced industrial lines is beneficial.
• Forklift operation may be required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Read area cleanup and equipment care postings to support 5S Lean practices.
• Keep the area clean and organized.
• Use problem-solving with colleagues to reach objectives.
• Attend each scheduled shift and arrive on time.
• Position parts or materials for processing.
• Care for machines, add coolant to reservoirs, and lubricate parts.
• Remove foreign material from items on conveyors.
• Assist other production workers in production activities.
• Report labor transactions and job information accurately.
• Control material cost, labor, and overhead costs.
• Work with colleagues to minimize energy use and waste.
• Contribute to producing the best product on schedule at best price.

About the Opportunity

• Pay Rate Range: $19.00-$21.00/hr
• Location: Delano, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications

• Attention to detail.

• Ability or willingness to operate a fork truck, training provided.
