Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care activities and related services under the supervision/delegation of the RN/physician, including intraprocedural support and specimen handling.
• Supports safety initiatives and prepares procedure rooms and equipment per physician specifications.
• Performs high level disinfection and reprocessing of equipment and scopes.
• Cleans, calibrates, operates and maintains equipment per policy; reports repairs.
• Documents procedures, images and charges using endoscope and ultrasound information systems.
• Maintains unit inventory, stocks supplies, and performs clerical duties.
