Nuvance Health Med Practice CT is seeking a Medical Practice RN in the Gastroenterology department in Danbury, CT. The role is a 40-hour per week position with Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, 8:30am–5:30pm, supporting primary medical care for patients.

Responsibilities include triage, direct patient care, coordination with physicians and the care team, and assisting clinicians during exams. Active RN license and BLS within 30 days are required.

Formación

• Five years job-related experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Triages and assesses patient conditions via phone or in-person consultations.
• Provides direct patient care such as ear irrigation, vaccinations, wound care and suture removal.
• Communicates with physicians, nurses and the care team about patient statuses.
• Prepares materials, supplies, and equipment and assists the clinician during exams.
• Obtains patient history and medical information.
• Performs point-of-care testing and collects specimens as directed.
