Job summary

Northwell Health in Danbury, CT is seeking a Medical Practice RN in the Primary Care Department. Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm with rotating 8-hour shifts; join a large, integrated health system offering opportunities for collaboration and professional growth.

The RN will coordinate staff and resources, oversee patient care, mentor clinical staff, and support operations to maintain KPI targets. Requires nursing degree, CT or NY RN license, BLS, and at least three years of experience; BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate from approved nursing program.
• Three (3) years nursing experience.
• Prefer: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• Able to multitask in fast paced environment.
• Valid RN License (CT or NY based on Practice Location).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Patient care duties including intake, vitals, history, and consent capture.
• Administer injections, dispense medications, and prepare lab/imaging requisitions.
• Coordinate further patient care and follow-up with providers and teams.
• Manage triage calls and support LPNs/MA staff with dispositions.
• Monitor KPIs in collaboration with Practice Leadership and drive improvements.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff and learners.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as requested.
• Assist in hiring, discipline, and performance evaluations with leadership.
