Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform patient care activities in a clinical setting.
• Strong documentation and electronic records skills.
• Effective communication with patients and families.
• Proficient in Windows, email, and MS Office; able to navigate EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations under provider direction.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and ensure complete documentation.
• Schedule procedures, labs, x-rays, and surgeries; provide pre- and post-surgery information.
• Coordinate physician schedules and ensure insurance pre-certifications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to policy standards.
• Educate patients and families and advocate for patient-centered care.
• Assist in training new colleagues and provide cross-coverage as needed.
• Document plans of care and escalation of non-routine issues.
