Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a Clinic Care Technician to support patient flow in the clinic setting. You will greet patients, room them, take vitals, document in the electronic medical record, and assist with clerical duties; you may float to other areas as needed.

Day shift from 08:00 to 16:30, with no holidays and no call obligations. This position includes opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits through Essentia Health.

Qualifications

• Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
• Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned
• Follows up on no-shows and reviews add-ons with providers
• Greets patients, supports virtual visits, verifies identification, and obtains vitals
• Chaperones exams as needed
• Administers questionnaires and documents in electronic medical record
• May perform limited patient care tasks based on training
• Processes incoming mail, scans, copies, faxes, prints and updates forms, answers internal phone calls

Responsibilities
