Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC is seeking a Gastroenterology APP to join Mountain Medical Associates, a hospital-employed multi-specialty clinic alongside a Board-Certified GI and APP. Dr. Filberto Colon will supervise and mentor new APPs.

Responsibilities include a mix of outpatient clinic and hospital consults with shared call during clinic hours, Monday through Friday. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered, with experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• PA/NP board certification or eligibility.
• Experience in GI is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to train and mentor new APPs.

Position Details

• Join Mountain Medical Associates -Hospital employed multi-specialty clinic

  • MMA consists of Internal Medicine, GI, Rheumatology, and Neurology

• Join a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist and APP

  • Dr. Filberto Colon will be the supervising physician and is willing to train and mentor new APPs

• Shared call - APPs provide primary call for the hospital and clinic during clinic hours

• Monday - Friday schedule

  • Mix of outpatient clinic and hospital consults
