Job summary
Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC, is seeking a Gastroenterology APP to join a hospital-employed team. You’ll work in a multi-specialty setting with a board-certified GI physician and a supportive mentoring environment.
The role includes a mix of outpatient clinic and hospital consults, with shared primary call during clinic hours. Monday–Friday, competitive compensation, and benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- GI APP role with credentialed NP/PA required or preferred.
- Experience in GI is beneficial but not required.
- Willingness to train and mentor new APPs.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinic and hospital consults in GI.
- Share primary hospital and clinic call duties during clinic hours.
- Collaborate with supervising GI physician and multi-specialty team.

Join Mountain Medical Associates -Hospital employed multi-specialty clinic
MMA consists of Internal Medicine, GI, Rheumatology, and Neurology
Join a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist and APP
Dr. Filberto Colon will be the supervising physician and is willing to train and mentor new APPs
Shared call - APPs provide primary call for the hospital and clinic during clinic hours
Monday - Friday schedule
Mix of outpatient clinic and hospital consults
