Haywood Regional Medical Center - A Duke LifePoint Hospital in Clyde, NC is seeking a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider to join Mountain Medical Associates, a hospital-employed multi-specialty clinic. You will work alongside a board-certified gastroenterologist and a supervising physician who is ready to train new APPs.

The role involves a mix of outpatient clinic and hospital consults with shared call duties during clinic hours, in a community-focused setting near the Great Smoky

Qualifications

• Gastroenterology knowledge and patient care capabilities.
• Experience as an advanced practice provider is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Share hospital and clinic call responsibilities during clinic hours.
• Provide outpatient clinic and hospital consults in GI.
• Under supervision of a board-certified physician, receive mentorship and guidance.

Position Details

• Join Mountain Medical Associates -Hospital employed multi-specialty clinic
• MMA consists of Internal Medicine, GI, Rheumatology, and Neurology
• Join a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist and APP
• Dr. Filberto Colon will be the supervising physician and is willing to train and mentor new APPs
• Shared call - APPs provide primary call for the hospital and clinic during clinic hours
• Mix of outpatient clinic and hospital consults
