Qualifications

• Board-certified Gastroenterologist with MD/DO.
• Experience with ERCP and standard GI procedures preferred.
• Ability to work in both clinic and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide general GI care and perform ERCP procedures.
• Mix of clinic and hospital-based GI care responsibilities.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and multidisciplinary teams.

Position Details:

Haywood Regional Medical Center's Mountain Medical Associates in Waynesville Associates is composed of Primary Care, GI, Neurology, and Rheumatology providers all housed under one roof

• Full time, hospital employed, established, multi-specialty practice
• Flexible schedule options: traditional or block for work/life balance
• Mentorship available with BC Gastroenterologist Dr. Filberto Colon
• Mix of clinic and hospital procedures, advanced procedures welcomed
• General GI and ERCP equipment available: Conmed Bicap 3 snare, Endostat 3, EndoStratus irrigation, Olympus Series 190 scopes for Colon, EGD, and ERCP
• Dedicated Endoscopy Suite with experienced staff
• Clinic EMR: Athena, Hospital EMR: Paragon
• 24/7/365 Hospitalist program
