Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Gastroenterologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat gastrointestinal disorders. Responsibilities include performing ERCP/EGD and collaborating on hepatology cases, including transplant evaluations.

Outpatient and inpatient duties, teamwork with the GI and transplant teams, and adherence to VA standards are essential. Strong clinical skills and comfort with procedures are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an approved medical school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders.
• Perform endoscopic procedures including ERCP and EGD.
• Participate in liver disease evaluation and potential transplant workups.
• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care and inpatient consults.
