Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Gastro to support patient needs via telephone triage and education. The role is based in Elmhurst, IL with two 10-hour shifts weekly and some travel to other locations. Office hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Candidates must hold an Illinois RN license and CPR certification; BSN preferred. The position requires flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification (AHA).
• Office RN and BSN preferred.
• Self-starter and able to handle periods of high stress.
• Prolonged standing/walking/sitting/bending and repetitive hand use.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Effective English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Phone triage, patient education and glucose monitor management under RN supervision.
• Address caller needs with active listening and clinical assessment.
• Coordinate insurance pre-authorization and referrals; maintain exam room readiness.
