Job summary

Florida Digestive Disease Specialists LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Procedure Scheduler to coordinate all aspects of patient procedures in our gastroenterology office. You will handle scheduling, prep instructions, and EMR documentation with a patient-first approach.

The role requires excellent communication, multitasking prowess, and a commitment to timely, accurate service for our patients and physicians at the Lakewood Ranch location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in medical scheduling, preferably in gastroenterology or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments for gastroenterology procedures (colonoscopy, endoscopy, etc.).
• Coordinate with patients, physicians, and staff for accurate scheduling and prep.
• Communicate procedural instructions and dietary guidelines clearly.
• Maintain EMR records of appointments and procedure details.
• Assist with scheduling changes or cancellations and respond to inquiries.
