The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, keyboard/computer skills, and a valid driver's license for off-site duties. Experience with insurance terminology and bilingual ability are pluses but not required.

• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Provides front desk coverage; answers calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility, interprets benefits, and processes charges and payments.
