Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) in Gastro to handle front desk operations, appointments, registrations in EPIC, and patient billing. This full-time role includes scheduled hours and travel to support multiple locations as needed.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, keyboard/computer skills, and a valid driver's license for off-site duties. Experience with insurance terminology and bilingual ability are pluses but not required.

Position Highlights

• Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Gastro
• Location: 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL
• Full Time: 40 hours a week
• Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours.
• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What You Will Do

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Clinic set-up and other office support.

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Keyboard and computer skills

Preferred

• A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred
• Medical terminology or coding experience
• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required
