Job summary

United Health Services is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Technician for the GI Lab at Binghamton General Hospital. You will prepare rooms, assist during endoscopic procedures, and help reprocess equipment to ensure safety and infection prevention.

Join a collaborative team, support high patient care standards, and contribute to streamlined GI procedures in a fast-paced setting. Day shift, 32 hours per week, with compensation range listed per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: GI Technical Specialist (GTS) course (SGNA).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for GI procedures.
• Anticipate provider needs during procedures and assist with patient care.
• Reprocess endoscopic equipment per guidelines and maintain sterile supplies.
• Support efficient GI Lab workflow and uphold infection prevention standards.
