Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions seeks a GI Technician to assist gastroenterologists in GI lab settings under RN direction. This role involves endoscopic procedure support, patient care for adults and geriatrics, and strict adherence to safety and decontamination protocols.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, managing supplies, and contributing to performance improvement efforts in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification is required.
• Preferred: Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent.
• Preferred: GI Lab/Operating Room experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competencies for endoscopic procedures and proper disinfection.
• Practices universal precautions and hazardous materials handling for decontamination.
• Transports patients between departments.
• Manages inventory and communicates needs to staff.
• Collects data for performance improvement.
