Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC in Temple, TX is seeking outdoors‑oriented individuals for a long‑term career as underground utility locators. No prior locating experience is required, as we offer 100% paid training, a company vehicle and fuel card, and a structured path for advancement.

You will work in the field using locating equipment to identify gas lines and mark the area. You must be able to work overtime, weekends, and on‑call shifts, travel locally, pass a drug screen, and maintain a safe

Responsibilities

• Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines in a designated area and mark the area with paint and flags to prevent damage to utility infrastructure.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of underground utility infrastructure.
• Follow all company, client, state, and federal damage prevention guidelines.
• As a technician in our Advanced Gas Operations division, you may locate other utilities in addition to gas lines, depending upon the project to which you are assigned.
