Job summary

Centuri Group, Inc. is seeking a Gas Utility Laborer to support field operations under a Foreman, working with Equipment Operators and Pipe Fitters to learn the gas utility trade through hands-on training.

Expect on-the-job training ranging 1–4 weeks, with opportunities to advance after 6 months; duties include digging with hand tools, loading equipment, keeping the site clean, and maintaining vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
