Job summary

Centuri, the leading natural gas distribution contractor in the United States, is hiring a Gas Utility Laborer. You will receive 1–4 weeks of paid training and work under a Foreman with Equipment Operators and Pipefitters to gain hands-on field experience in digging, trenching, and safety practices.

You must have a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. The role involves outdoor work, other duties as assigned, and opportunities for growth through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record preferred.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade and safety-aware mindset.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized, free from hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all required Operator Qualifications.
• Follow leadership directions and perform other tasks as requested.
