Job summary

Centuri is hiring a Gas Utility Laborer in the United States. The role involves working with a foreman and skilled crews to dig, excavate, and perform on-the-job training to build foundational skills in the gas utility trade.

You will gain hands-on experience, learn to operate safely in the field, and advance toward specialized skill areas such as trenching and shoring. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required and preferred.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized, free from hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
