Job summary

Centuri in the United States is seeking a Gas Utility Laborer to join the field team. You will receive 1‑4 weeks of paid training, led by an experienced Foreman, and work alongside Equipment Operators and Pipefitters to gain hands-on experience and grow your skills in the gas utility trade.

This role develops specialized proficiency in excavating, trenching, shoring, and more, with emphasis on safety and teamwork on outdoor sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
