Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Gas Utility Laborer to work in our field teams across North America.

You will receive 1-4 weeks of paid training and gain hands-on experience in gas utility trade under a Foreman, with opportunities for advancement through on-the-job training. The role involves excavating, trenching, shoring, and operating with skilled crews; you must have a valid driver’s license and be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
