Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Construction & Maintenance Technician I (SGL3) based in Hot Springs, AR. You will perform field operations including installation, repair, construction, and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.

Key duties include installing/replacing pipe, assisting in emergencies, and operating tools and equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with willingness to work outdoors in all weather and respond to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work outdoors daily in all weather conditions.
• Must be available to respond to emergencies during and after normal working hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipe.
• Provide First Responder assistance in emergency situations.
• Load and unload required equipment, tools, and supplies onto and from truck.
• Use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment and enter/exit vehicle unassisted.
