Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. in Little Rock, AR, seeks a Construction & Maintenance Technician I to perform installation, repair, and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems. This role requires field operations, heavy equipment use, and adherence to safety and DOT policies.

You will respond to emergencies, operate vehicles and tools, and work outdoors daily in all weather conditions while maintaining equipment and following company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work outdoors daily in all weather conditions.
• Must be available to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipe.
• Locate gas lines and operate heavy equipment safely.
• Provide first responder assistance in emergencies.
• Load/unload required tools and supplies onto/from the truck.
• Operate a vehicle and enter/exit equipment as needed.
• Submit to random drug testing and comply with safety policies.
