Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Construction & Maintenance Technician I (SGL3) to perform field operations for installation, repair, construction and maintenance of natural gas distribution systems.

This role requires hands-on outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Responsibilities include installing/repairing pipes, locating gas lines, using hand and power tools, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Ability to work outdoors daily in all weather conditions.
• Must be available to respond to emergencies during and after normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipe.
• Provide First Responder assistance in emergencies.
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Locate gas lines and work with hand/power tools.
• Operate a vehicle and heavy equipment; enter/exit safely.
