Job summary

Component Repair Technologies is seeking a Repair Development Engineer to lead the industrialization, development and integration of repairs for gas turbine engine components. You will drive projects to convert repairs into approved technical data formats and support OEM-backed development of new repairs.

The role requires interpreting OEM manuals, FAA data, and blueprints, collaborating with process engineers, and delivering clear, efficient work instructions for production teams while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited college/university (or 5 years manufacturing experience).
• Ability to read OEM manuals, FAA regulations, and blueprints and apply information systematically.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to evaluate from technical and mechanical perspectives.
• Experience following verbal and written instructions and interpreting technical drawings/work scope.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and company safety policies and procedures.
• Research OEM manuals to develop clear work development instructions for gas turbine components.
• Analyze manuals and assembly diagrams to create efficient work instructions.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for daily projects.
• Communicate component status, repair time estimates and project progress at a high level.
• Collaborate with OEMs to recover unserviceable components while meeting customer needs.
• Develop and revise work instructions and tooling to facilitate production.
• Ensure repairs meet FAA approved data and industry standards.
