Job summary

American Jereh International Corporation seeks a Gas Turbine Services Engineer to provide engineering support across the complete repair and service lifecycle of aeroderivative gas turbines. You will work with service, manufacturing, quality, and customers to ensure safe, efficient repairs compliant with OEM requirements.

This hands-on role involves engine teardown, inspection, repair, assembly, testing, and final release, with collaboration across cross-functional teams and travel to customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience with aeroderivative gas turbine engines (GE LM2500/LM6000, Siemens SGT-A05 or similar).
• Experience in MRO/repair/overhaul/manufacturing/field service engineering.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine fundamentals, turbomachinery, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, manuals, specs, inspection reports, and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimized work scopes for gas turbine engines, balancing tech requirements, reliability, cost, and turnaround time.
• Lead engineering process from teardown to final release.
• Create work instructions, repair shop routers, inspections packs, and specs.
• Provide hands-on technical support during disassembly, inspection, and testing.
• Develop cross-functional solutions for aero-derivative gas turbine issues.
• Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment for inspection and repair.
• Analyze test data to identify abnormal conditions and failure modes.
• Lead RCA investigations including corrective actions and reports.
• Prepare technical reports for internal/external customers.
