Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking an O&M Gas Systems Engineer to support the safe, reliable operation of bulk and specialty gas delivery systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with data analytics or AI-enabled tools in engineering/maintenance.

Responsibilities

Support operation, maintenance, and improvement of gas systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
Analyze performance data, identify improvements, troubleshoot, and lead root-cause investigations.
Utilize AI, ML, and analytics to predict failures and optimize maintenance.
Develop and implement dashboards and automated reporting to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and change management requirements.
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support production goals.
Lead projects including upgrades, installations, commissioning, and reliability improvements.
Maintain engineering documentation, standards, procedures, and prevention maintenance strategies.
Apply TPM, FMEA, risk assessment, and continuous improvement methods to drive cost savings and performance.
