Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Gas and Chemical Systems Technician to maintain and repair gas delivery and monitoring systems. Responsibilities include safety training, alarm resolution, and assisting with installation and commissioning of systems.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year hands-on experience, and 2–3 years with gas/chemical delivery equipment. Associates degree and semiconductor experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of technical proficiency with Gas and Chemical delivery equipment.
• 1 year hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Gas and Chemical delivery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete safety trainings and adhere to safety policies.
• Identify and resolve equipment alarms and defects; assist with installation and modification of facilities equipment.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment for safety, quality, and compliance.
• Drive safety and cost-saving initiatives by analyzing data and following TPM procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and update procedures as required.
