Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Gas Systems Technician to maintain and repair gas delivery and monitoring systems. You will handle cylinder replacements, bulk fluid offloading, alarms, system commissioning, and safety compliance in a dynamic semiconductor environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, adherence to safety policies, and collaboration across teams to support Micron’s mission in memory and storage technologies. Training and safety programs are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of technical proficiency with gas and chemical delivery equipment.
• Willingness to work 8-hour first shifts and overtime when needed.
• 1 year hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas/chemical delivery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Replace gas cylinders and offload bulk fluids; respond to alarms and customer requests.
• Coordinate system commissioning, qualification, and testing; follow safety policies.
• Review JHA, ensure PPE compliance, and maintain area procedures and documentation.
• Identify and resolve equipment alarms; assist with installation and modification of facilities.
