Job summary

Net Power, LLC is developing behind-the-meter, natural gas‑fired power generation to serve large loads. The Director, Fuel Supply & Hedging will build and run the gas supply function from the ground up, including hedging programs and ESA price risk for customers.

The role is on-site in Houston, TX with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and some travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, economics, or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (<25%).
• Experience negotiating gas purchase and interconnect agreements.

Responsibilities

• Own the fuel supply and hedging program for Net Power projects.
• Lead gas sourcing strategy and contract negotiations with producers/marketers.
• Structure interconnects and firm transportation agreements.
• Manage hedge programs and price-risk reporting for customers.
