This position focuses on U.S. energy markets with an emphasis on PJM, MISO or ERCOT. You will leverage quantitative skills, analytical tools, and market knowledge to support hedge strategy development, execution, and real-time decision-making.

Director, Power Trader, Responsibilities

• Actively manage volumetric, congestion, and DART exposures using instruments such as outright power, CRRs/FTRs/PTPs, virtuals, and options.
• Analyze and recommend strategies around capacity auctions in PJM, MISO and ERCOT.
• Track and interpret market fundamentals, trends, and regulatory updates across ISO regions.
• Present hedge strategies and outcomes to internal stakeholders, including executive committees and teams such as finance, operations, legal, and asset management.

Director, Power Trader, Qualifications

• Solid understanding of PJM, MISO, and/or ERCOT market structures and operations.
• Possess experience transacting in short- and medium-term power markets using products such as dailies, weeklies, virtuals, CRRs/FTRs/PTPs, and congestion rights.
• Hands-on experience managing or optimizing renewable or thermal assets.
• Cross-ISO market knowledge, particularly in ERCOT, PJM, and MISO.
• Experienced in trading positions derived from a diverse portfolio of assets including solar, wind, and battery storage, optimizing and hedging risks such as intermittency, congestion, and DART spreads.
