Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, develop, schedule, and implement engineering assignments related to pipeline safety regulations in CT, MA, and at the federal level.

The role supports regulatory rollouts, assists with day-to-day Policy & Compliance tasks, and collaborates with legal counsel to interpret requirements. Requires a mechanical engineering-related BS and 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas distribution construction and maintenance work practices.
• Ability to interpret applicable governmental codes and regulations.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain company standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate resources to complete processes or projects.
• Monitor regulatory updates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Lead implementation of new compliance initiatives arising from gas regulations.
• Support training organizations to ensure understanding of regulatory requirements.
